Michael Torres spent three years at Columbia Pictures working
with acclaimed producer Denise DiNovi (Batman, Edward
Scissorhands) on such films as Ed
Wood and Little Women.
Also as an Executive Assistant to the Producers he was a
part of Kiefer Sutherland's directorial debut film Truth
Or Consequences. He
then left the studio world to be an agent trainee at ICM under
the guidance of prolific literary agent Patty Detroit for two
and half years. He
was then recruited by Warner Brothers TV to develop and produce
Latino programming. He
went on to independently produce his first hour drama for NBC
with writer Silvio Horta (Urban Legend) that is currently on the
Sci-Fi Channel. Since then he’s produced and developed the
following projects.
